Microsoft Excel is a powerful tool for data management and analysis.

Home Screen

  • Grid layout broken into cells labeled by letter and number coordinates
  • Data can be entered into these cells either manually or by importing data that is already in a digital form
  • Formulas can then be entered into other cells in order to manipulate or analyze the data

  • Data analysis - if Analysis ToolPak has been activated (in the File Options), that add-in will be available (provides a variety of statistical tools such as correlation, histogram, and t-test)
