Make "I'm Feeling Lucky" your Default Search
Many people have even switched from the classic Google Search homepage to using the "I'm Feeling Lucky." Here are some basic steps to follow if you would like to make it your default search homepage:
- Open the Options Menu (Wrench>>Options)
- In the "Default Search:" section click on the "Manage" button
- Click the "Add" button
- Fill in the the blank text fields calling the search whatever you want
- In the URL field paste the following string:
- Click the "OK" button
- Select the newly made Search from the Window
- Click the "Make Default" button
- Close out of the options
You should now automatically be using the "I'm Feeling Lucky" search whenever you perform a search through the address bar. This particular URL does assume the language to be English. If you need another language, you may have to do some tweaking to the URL.
