A HOT Seller on Amazon.Com

As of the date of this hub (3/3/12), the Kindle Fire is the hottest selling item on Amazon.Com. With over 14,760 customer reviews, holding a 4 out of 5 star customer review rating, and 19,990 likes, it commands a huge popularity among consumers who have purchased and who currently use the tablet. The price point doesn't hurt either.. At $199.00, it is very attainable..

Cool Features

The Kindle Fire is loaded with cool features.. It's one of the few tablets on the market today that can rival Apple's tablet products. Features include: 19 million movies, TV shows, songs, magazines, and books; thousands of popular apps and games, including Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Pandora; incredibly fast web browsing - Amazon Silk - a revolutionary, cloud-accelerated browser that uses a "split browser" architecture to leverage the computing speed and power of the Amazon Web Services cloud; free cloud storage for all your Amazon content; vibrant color touchscreen with extra-wide viewing angle - similar to an iPad; fast, powerful dual-core processor; and, favorite children's books, graphic novels, and magazines in rich color.

Any Negatives?

There's only a few negatives I can point out.. One is that in order for Amazon to keep the price down (currently retailing for $199.00 as of 3/3/12), they only allowed for 8GB of on-board storage, the same amount found on the Nook Color or the Iconia Tab (check the chart out below for comparative information). There's no front or rear camera on the tablet (which will affect certain app's you can't use). And, there's no HDMI, GPS, or 3G capability (although it will support most public and private WiFi networks). Check out the video at right which points out many of the positives associated with the Kindle Fire..

Thanks for this review on Kindle. I want one. Keep waiting for the price to go down. I'm even willing to purchase a used one. Voted up!
