Neat iPod Gadgets
So you finally splurged on an iPod to listen to all of your favorite music. Now, you can start collecting all of the cool gadgets that enhance your iPod experience. These players have really revolutionized the way we listen to music, creating the ability to store and play a huge amount of songs and tracks.
Karaoke Device – The iKaraoke connects to your iPod’s docking port. It adjusts the lead vocals of the songs you play, allowing you to sing along with it. The iKaraoke is a microphone, processor, and FM transmitter in one device. The hand unit offers scan, skip, and adjustable reverb (a simulated echo, acoustic sound).
The iKaraoke lets you adjust the background music volume, but it can also be used as a PA system if you mute the background volume. Your voice, as well as the music, will transmit through whatever you have it hooked up to: speakers, boombox, car stereo, etc.
Protective Cover & Exercise Strap – There are a lot of different models of these available, but basically you will want something that protects and keeps your iPod safely attached to your body while exercising. Look for something that will securely strap the iPod to you. Choosing one that also has a protective case is helpful just in case the iPod does actually fall off of your body. You don’t want a broken iPod because it hit the ground while you were out jogging.
Another thing to consider while shopping for a protective strap is comfort. You can find straps that go around your arm and your waist, so you will have to figure out what works best for you.
Mobile Docking Speaker System – This small docking system is a great option for someone who travels a lot, or wants to take their docking system out of the house with them. The system is small, but provides decent audio sound. It offers different plug adapters, so it usable just about everywhere.
Mobile docking systems also sync and charge your iPod products.
Car Transmitter – These transmitters don’t only work with car stereos, but with any FM stereo transmitter. However, it is very useful for using to listen to your iPod music in the car. All you have to do is plug the FM transmitter into the headphone jack of your iPod, and then tune your car stereo to the clearest FM frequency. The transmitter will wirelessly connect your iPod to the stereo.
