iPhone 6: Latest Rumours & Possible Release Date
Apple Still Tight-lipped over Future iPhone 6 Release Date
The big question on everybody’s lips is when in 2013 is when Apple's iPhone 6 will be released. Of course, rumour control is on overdrive at the moment as for the actual date, and Apple is keeping quite over it's new releases as normal. As for the iPhone 6, Apple will have to produce something extra special out of the hat to complete with their own iPhone 4s and more recent 5, which to many, is already a bit of a design classic. Despite its sleek lines and innovative glass and metal alloy construction of the iPhone 4, technology marches ever onwards, this time towards to the replacement of the unique alloy iPhone 5.
Most Wanted Features :
Removable Battery : The return of the removable battery will be a nice feature on the iPhone 6. While the battery on the iPhone 5 is bigger and has improved performance over its predecessor, it cannot be easily removed for replacement. A more powerful battery for the next iPhone is surely a must too.
Faster Processor : Is always desirable as both mobile software and apps get more and more hungry. How much more juice can Apple squeeze out of the A6 chip or do they have a new faster chip up their sleeve for the iPhone 6?
More Storage : With people needing to store more films, music, images and videos on their iPhones means that need for more storage is critical. Although, a 16GB, 32GB and new 64GB versions would cater for different needs, as not everybody wants to fill their iPhone full of thousands of tunes and visual media and will more be made of Apple's iCloud?
New Antenna : ‘Antennagate’ took some of the shine off the iPhone 4 when it was released last year, so hopefully Apple have learnt a lesson and designed a left hand proof antenna on the iPhone 6.
Larger Screen : A bigger screen that is edge to edge could feature on the iPhone 6. 3D graphics is another option for Apple on the next incarnation of the iPhone.
Super-Fast Mobile Broadband : Will the iPhone 6 be more abe to receive the new 4G as well as 3G networks? Also Apple’s Facetime really needs to be 3G/4G enabled to maximise this useful feature.
Better Voice Control : Could be greatly improved on from the iPhone 5 version of Siri. Voice control has the potential to be a key feature on a mobile, but as yet none have really worked that well. Any strong English or for that matter Scottish accent is real problem for voice control
Software : While Apple is expected to release IOS 7 in the fall, with even more features with a love it or hate it new look. Will the iPhone 6 see the release of IOS 7 at the same time? Only time will tell.
Design : Perhaps the iPhone 6 will feature completely different materials for the body and screen or will it just be a cheaper version of the iPhone 5?
Rumour Control : Other rumours floating about suggest that the iPhone 6 will be a pay phone similar to using a credit/debit card to pay for items. While in principle it is a great idea, getting shoppers and retailers to buy into this new technology is another story
Guess the Release Date - Well, unless you have stolen Steve Jobs’s crystal ball or kidnapped Apple’s A-team, your guess is as good as mine. Various dates have been quoted for the iPhone 6. It could be later in the year. The expected release of iPad 5 also affects the release date of the iPhone 6. Again, it’s just a case of wait and see.
1st April 2014 Release Date : If iPhone 6 is released on this date, it may also include unique features that will allow you to talk to and track UFOs, enables time travel, cures the common cold, feeds the cat while you are on holiday, replicates Belgium chocolate on demand, alerts you to restaurants that serve broccoli and controls the weather too….
