PDAir Magnetic iPad Case Simple Functional Design

Updated on January 31, 2011

Sometimes simple is best. The PDair Magnetic iPad Case is elegant yet it is not overdone with gimmicks and gadgets that try to distinguish it from other iPad cases. The PDair Magnetic iPad Case is designed to suit most any taste. The leather is smooth and feels good to the touch. The smell of real leather greats you each time you open it. High quality black (also red and brown) leather with white stitching works in a professional setting as well in your own home office. There are no appendages that catch on other items in a purse or bag so it is easy to carry and easy to use.

Magnetic closures are the most unique feature of the PDair iPad Case. In fact, this is what really draws me to this case. Without the magnets (located on each corner) the case would open inside of a bag allowing the iPad to be scratched. How many times have you hurriedly dropped your keys into your bag? I do it all the time – and I am not necessarily thinking about what they may hit. The magnets are hidden beneath the cover but they work very well. No straps or Velcro take away from the sleek look of the PDair iPad Case.

The PDair Magnetic iPad Case looks like a typical portfolio. Until you open it some may not guess that there is an iPad inside. At times that is a good thing. Have you noticed that once people learn that you have an iPad they all want to touch it? Unless you notice the cutouts that allow for the use of all iPad ports and buttons you would assume that there is an ordinary yellow tablet inside.

The iPad fits snuggly into the leather frame inside of the PDair. There are no tabs, snaps or straps to hold the iPad in place. The fit is snug so there is no real need for any and furthers the streamlined look to the PDair Magnetic iPad Case. The front cover of the PDair folds back flat against the backside. The iPad can be used while holding the PDair Magnetic iPad Case in any direction allowing for comfortable computing or game playing. Just because the PDair looks professional does not mean that you have to be stuffy about it.

With so many iPad cases to choose from it is difficult to decide which one is the best one for you. The way you use your iPad is an important consideration. If you prefer to have multiple angles available the PDair is not necessarily the best iPad case for you. It will provide a slight incline once the front cover is flipped to the back but there is no special design to allow it to change from one viewing angle to another. If you prefer to use your iPad in a book-style manner the PDair would work well for you. If you like high quality materials the PDair iPad Case would probably please you. If you like to look professional the PDair iPad Case would probably please you. If you want a simple design that works the way it was designed to the PDair iPad Case sill probably please you.
