My Personal 4 in 1 Gadget

Updated on October 20, 2012

Technology has touched the lives of all humans. It sure has eased our lives and brought us together (virtually) in this big wide world. Distances don’t seem longer anymore and patience is just an adjective used when a child wants some candy ‘cause the days of snail mail is long gone, where we had to mail a letter and wait up for days with patience to receive its reply. These are the days of instant texting and emailing.

Many gadgets surround me on a daily basis. They start from my alarm clock in the morning to the toaster helping me with breakfast, the cooktop that helps me brew my tea, the microwave to heat the milk, vacuum cleaner to clean my mess and then the phone and laptop to help me communicate with the other world. Life sure is convenient and at one’s fingertips!

My personal favorite is my four in one Jensen gadget that has an alarm, AM/FM receiver and top loading CD player. It has Sleep/Snooze function and I wake up to my favorite music and lull myself to sleep listening to my favorite music. It uses a mere power of 120V/60Hz and has a battery back up for my clock. It sure is an ordinary looking gadget, but it sounds good and is easy to use. I am not a person of more features on my gadget ‘cause it just complicates things for me and I land up either not using it with the fear of spoiling it or just be too dependent on my manual. Jensen 4 in 1 has simple terms used on its player such as CD, Alarm, Sleep, Clock mode, Buzzer, Bass, CD, Radio, Band and has Stop, Play, Rewind, Forward and Volume buttons that makes me comfortable and I reach out to it according to my needs. It even has a headphone outlet and that does not disturb my better half when I intend to listen to music at an odd hour.

What makes this gadget my favorite?

Besides the simplicity of this gadget, it promises to wake ME up at the time I set it at and it plays the music of MY choice. What more can I ask for?

MY favorite music at MY preferred time! Amazing huh!

Waking up to the music of my choice, gives me a wonderful start to the day. It gives me the confidence to lead the way even if during the day, I tend to fumble and become a follower.

It’s the start of the day that matters. The anticipation to lead gives me the confidence to indulge in anything that I desire. That is the advantage of having a good start, the first thing in the morning.

Music has been known to play an integral part of development. And if we start our day or any moment with music of our choice, it gives us the confidence to dive into action. A classic example is Michael Phelps, who tends to listen to music before he dives into the pool for his big swim. Music not only calms your mind and body but also helps you focus on your dreams and goals.

I love my personal 4 in 1 Gadget ‘cause of the above reasons.

4.6 out of 5 stars from 5 ratings of How would you rate Jensen 4 in 1 player?

I need a gadget that plays what I want to hear as soon as I wake up too!!! What a great thing!

You are right about music calming you! I often play the soundtrack to 'Les Miserables' to do just that!

Sounds like you have a way to start your day on a positive relaxing note. The batteries are great on the days the power is out and you don't have the worry that you won't wake up in time. This Jensen is a nice looking unit too. Well done review Ruchira.

I have an alarm clock / radio / CD player and I really enjoy the versatility as well. Being able to wake up to the music of my choice is wonderful. Whether I feel I need something soothing for a slow start, or something peppy to get me going, I can choose the music that is just right for me.

So practical. Was wondering if this will help so many folkss on the streets. You just need batteries or an outlet behind the Tax division building. Cute pic! I was still thinking if this can be added to every congressman's seat. It will keep them more productive in aproving a bill.

Yeah Ruchira - great gadget! I could not live without my stereo. (it's on right now!) I don't care so much about Tv though I watch Discoery and movies and stuff but I would surely die without my daily dose of music!

      Wonderful hub!

This gets me thinking . . . it would be so much nicer to wake up to music I like instead of the alarm on my cell phone. Battery backup for the clock is nice as well.
