Print Pics on the go with PoGo

Updated on July 30, 2013

Great Party Fun - Print Photos on the Spot!

The Polaroid PoGo Instant Mobile Printer prints digital pictures that are 2” x 3” from a cell phone or digital camera. Most people recognize the name Polaroid and it is a name that they remember. Imagine being able to share digital pictures instantly taken with a cell phone or digital camera.

Holiday parties are a wonderful place to use the PoGo Mobile Printer. Memories can be recorded while the fun continues.

I have a portable picture printer that accepts SD cards but the PoGo is beyond portable. It measure 4.7" x 2.8" and is less than an inch thick (0.9"). That explains why the printed pictures are a mere 2" x 3' (borderless).

The printed pictures may be small but they are packed with huge benefits. Pictures printed from the PoGo Instant Mobile Printer the special Zink printing paper's have other cool features that include being water resistant, tear proof, smudge proof and a sticky backside. Remove the backing or not - your choice.

How PoGo Works

When I first read about the PoGo I wondered how this tiny box could print pictures without ink. Then again the original Polaroid instant cameras did not use ink either. The pictures were not printed out but the magic was in the film/paper. Although the technology is different the magic is much the same. Printing paper used with the PoGo is embedded with over 100 billion color crystals (yellow, magenta and cyan) that are activated by 200 million heat pulses. The picture is printed with a single pass across the Zink printing paper.

The Polaroid PoGo Instant Mobile Printer uses either a wireless Bluetooth or a USB connection to print out the digital photos. A Bluetooth connection between your cell phone and the PoGo enables you to print out a picture in less than one minute.

The Polaroid PoGo Instant Mobile Printer could be an instant hit at a party or any other kind of gathering. Kids would love having their pictures taken and then be handed that picture within a minute. Shoot I would love that!
