The Best Keyword Tool – Jaaxy versus Google’s Keyword Tool

Updated on July 4, 2012

If you have read my hub on how to keyword research then you know that I do not use Google’s keyword tool because I find it does not offer the kind of information an Internet marketer needs to know – knowing your competition. All the details about traffic – how many people search Google for that keyword - would be useless if you are competing with thousands of other websites hence the importance of knowing the competition.

As a beginner it would be difficult to try and rank your website on a keyword niche, for example, best weight loss foods, so before we even begin planning a campaign we have to know what’s already out there on the Internet otherwise our efforts would be futile. So we have selected two popular keyword tools – Google’s keyword tool and Jaaxy.

Google's keyword tool versus Jaaxy

So what we will do now is we will do a simple test between Google’s keyword tool and Jaaxy for the long tail keyword “best weight loss foods”.

Results from Google’s keyword tool

The screenshot above shows that the keyword gets about 74,000 searches every month (TRAFFIC). And for competition, it only shows High. It doesn’t show the exact number of competitors for this keyword. You think you can come up with an informed decision based on the numbers above? Hmm, I didn’t think so.

Now, let’s take a look at Jaaxy’s results:

  • Jaaxy shows that the keyword gets 6,624 searches every month (TRAFFIC) and QSR or Quoted Search Results is 389. QSR is the number of competing pages under this keyword. More importantly, this is the competitor data that Google does not show.
  • The KQI or Keyword Quality Indicator is green which means the keyword is great; and
  • SEO Power is 92 which means that the chances are excellent that if you promote your keyword properly then you can get to the first page of Google!

Based on the screenshot above, Jaaxy shows the kind of information an Internet marketer needs -- TRAFFIC and COMPETITION! In addition to knowing you have a huge possibility of getting your keyword ranked in the first page of the SERPs or search engine results pages, Jaaxy even estimates the number of clicks your website will receive on the first page (see column for Estimated Traffic)! So, for our keyword this translates to approximately 1,127 clicks per month!

Jaaxy has been programmed with the Internet marketer in mind. With the data we have collected for our keyword, you can bet that an aggressive Internet marketer would want to check if the domain for this keyword is still available. Jaaxy shows this information:

If you want to get a headstart on the competition then you might want to buy any of the available keyword-rich domains! A simple click on the link to buy the domain will direct you to GoDaddy.

Why Jaaxy is THE best keyword tool today

The best thing with Jaaxy is the amount of time I get to save! If I were just to rely on Google’s keyword tool then it would take me a long time to finish my research, not to mention I still have to manually search available domains with a domain registrar and start managing my campaign!

Keyword research is one of the first things a conscientious Internet marketer does and having Jaaxy at your fingertips gives you the kind of power a non-Jaaxy user can ever possibly hope to achieve!

Jaaxy offers 30 free searches to all users, you can’t even pay for the service at once! This is because the company wants to ensure everyone gets to try and experience the tool and decide if they want to upgrade to unlimited searches for a flat $19 monthly fee.

What I was able to achieve with the free trial

This keyword research tool is simply unbelievable! In less than 10 searches, I was able to identify two long-tail niche keywords and bought the domains for these two sites. It didn’t take me long either once I started figuring out which niche I wanted to work on, I think in 30 minutes max!

If you find this pro-Jaaxy hub useful, I would suggest you give the 30 searches trial a go. You have nothing to lose and literally everything to gain! This tool can be pretty addicting to be honest and like me I am pretty sure you will find yourself using this tool every single day!
