The Emoji way of Communication
I know it sounds weird, but emojis has changed the traditional way of communication. Those cute little digital prints that people send each other by text, social media or even in emails clearly reflects the changing dynamics of communication - not just for individuals, but for businesses as well.
From letters to the email, then from emails to text messages. From text messages to iMessages and WhatsApp groups, and now from actual language to just pictures, emoji’s are now taking over the process of communication.
These tiny little pictures help in expressing the actual feelings of a user. Some of the emojis are used as a signature way of expressing their feelings.
Some people find them frustrating, but some loveeeee using emojis in every damn sentence. Let’s talk about Instagram, half of the captions and comments on Instagram pictures are loaded with emojis. People actually enjoy using emoji as without wasting time, they are able to express themselves.
Even in the emails, it has been observed, that people exchange :) , :( or a tongue emoji. Acknowledged, noted or OK has been replaced by the 'Thumbs up' emoji.
According to a survey, over 6 billion emojis are exchanged every day. It means, more than 90% of social media users communicate through emojis. Now here I so wanted to insert a ‘Facepalm’ emoji :) !
