The Magic Wand Remote Control

Updated on September 12, 2012

New cool Gizmo

When I first saw this, I thought it was a joke. I have wanted a real wand for years. I am such a kid, that I thought how great it would be to be able to swish a magic wand about and shut people up! However, that is yet to be. But after watching Harry Potter sweeping his wand around to the words of, well something magical, I realised that, yes, I was still interested in getting myself one. And after browsing a few sites, I realised that, actually, it really is a new, real Gadget. This is a lovely little thing. Not only can you use it for your TV, but it also works with any other infra red devise. Whether it be Sky, digibox stereo, your light switches, and your PC, or any other devise that works with this technology. It also doesn't have any fiddly buttons, so all you have to do is learn to swish it about, and soon you will be making Harry Potter Proud! Evidently it can learn and use, up to thirteen different commands.

There are various moves for different functions. It also has a pulse, a bit like a heartbeat, that will tell you when your battery is running low.

If you are not using for a certain amount of time, it goes to 'sleep' and wakes when you want to use it again.

Now this is perfect for me. I love gizmo's and gadgets. and I love anything magical. If anybody wants to use the TV, they will never be able to get their hands on it again! The look of it is classical magician. It also comes in a beautiful presentation box, so it's a good gift to buy for somebody. How many remote controls can say that?

I like the way that you have to learn how to use it. Flick it, to turn on and off the TV, or other devise. If you want to turn the sound up or down you twist it, and if you are one for grand gestures, give it a big swirl and it will mute the TV. Brilliant. And the best thing about it is you don't look stupid when you say you have fallen in love with the remote!

The Wand is made by The Wand Company. And the full name of it is The Wand Remote Control, Kymera.

This to me is a cross between something practical, and something really quite childish. Brilliant. For all the grown up Kids out their (me), your TV viewing will never be the same. If you think you argue over the Remote Control now, you can imagine what this is going to be like.

Hide it. Anywhere. Just hide it. Don't let them get there grubby little hands on it.

it's mine. All mine!

Have Fun.
