  • While checking for a domain name, Drupal founder Dries Buytaert misspelled the Dutch word for village ‘dorp’. The resulting error ‘drop’ when translated in Dutch became ‘druppel’, which later evolved to ‘Drupal’!

      I currently use WordPress, but I've used Drupal in the past and it's pretty amazing and powerful. I didn't realize the White House uses Drupal. That's pretty awesome!
