    We got an Apple in the early 80s and played Atari every day just to beat our previous scores...asteroids was our favorite...

    IBM 5170 AT  6Mhz Speed played word game on it

    it was a 386 sx 16 mhz with an hdd of 40 MB and 1 MB of RAM and it also had the Turbo button on the case smile)

    that was my first own PC, before that i began learning how to use computer on some kind of a machine that would be like the neanderthal ancestor of a laptop. it has a small orange and black screen and it was "portable" weighed around 50 kilos though if i remember correctly it was a siemens or something like that.

    Radio Shack TRS-80 Model 1

    No HD, no floppy, no mouse, just a cassette recorder and a keyboard.

    I got a Commodore 64 as a kid but I never really took to it.

    The first computer I really used:

    Packard Bell 486/66 DX2

    8MB of RAM
    850MB hard drive (I think)
    14.4 modem
    DOS 6.2 / Windows 3.11
