There is no such thing as a good free web host.
You get what you pay for in hosting.
If you get a Free web host you are sacrificing support or control. You are also going to be sharing server space with potentially "bad neighbors" ip's used for Spam or Pornography.
pay for your hosting!
I tend to avoid free hosts; when I was a kid I used geocities, but you get what you pay for: "free" hosting is supported by advertising and you don't have full control of your site.
Of course, there can be good promos from companies that don't normally provide free hosting. I've been using 1&1 for the last decade, and that started with a 3-year free trial they offered; I liked them enough to stick with them when the trial expired.
I presume 50megs or TheFreeSite are quite good and reliable free web hosting sites.
