    hi melbel, my web search isnt under any of those names in my add/ remove programs , im not sure...

    what to look for, im not good with computers and feel really silly right now for ever downloading the stupid program, ive tried downloading spyware and that didnt work.. please help! thankyou

    Hello sudge,

    Try this....

    Click > Start > Run > inetcpl.cpl > and hit Enter.

    Then go to the "Programs" then go to "Manage Add-ons"

    Try and find "MyWebSearch" in here.  Then choose to disable or delete it.  You can use the little drop down menu on the left to "view all add-ons" etc.

    Do you have it in your Program directory? You could try deleting it there.
