I am looking for an ereader to purchase. What is the top rated ereader out there?
Wifi capable with great battery life, touch screen and back lighting.would be ideal. All at a reasonable cost. I want something to last. I want one that is easily downloadable from multiple formats or able to find a program to transfer the book into that ereader format.
Kindle is probably on top of the heap and very cheap in price.
One daughter has a Kindle and loves it, the other daughter bought the regular NOOK and loves it. I bought a NOOKCOLOR which is backlit and I sent it back, there was too much glare on the screen.
The Kindle from Amazon has proprietary software so you have to buy from Amazon. The NOOK is a more user friendly software and you can purchase ebooks from other places.

Just set up my PayPal and looking to purchase a very low cost site. Advice any one. HubPages has it's promise of money after about 5000 hubs, if I live long enough, so i need to look around.
