My boyfriend's gmail account was one of "the few" accounts hacked into the other day. He was able to change most of the passwords to his other things - but we lost access to some of our personal websites and blogs - all the information is gone and we cannot find out if there is any way to get them (or the information) back?
Does anyone know anything - please help me if you can
Well that is good to know... do you by chance know a way we can fix it
A lot of it depends on what the people that hacked it did with it. Unfortunately, most of the time, once a small personal site is hacked, there is not a lot you can do to get back what has been lost.
thanks for the information (even though it sucks...) is there a way we can get our domain names back?
Also - his information is posted on the web - is there anyway to get it taken down?
Try contacting your hosting company. They will be your best bet of getting you your stuff back.
