I always buy a phone with keyboard. Time to time I need to write a note and with the keyboard it is possible to do it more quickly.

Yeah, I agree keypad phones are the best when it comes to typing something out quickly, for example, texting while walking or driving (just in really important cases and i always keep my eyes on the road!).

So far I've kept to my Blackberry with keypad instead of a touch version. Why? I think I like the surety of hitting keys that I feel at once that I've depressed hard enough to 'click'. I don't have to regulate my touch to just the right hardness and check visually to make sure it has 'clicked'. (Hope this make sense.) Also, whenever it has been time for an upgrade, any of the touch phones cost significantly more than the great deal I was given for the keypad version. However, that is probably because I've been loyally sticking with Blackberry, who has been behind many of the others on providing a touch version.

Hi Ms Dee, I've never owned a Blackberry before but I sure can relate to the tactile feedback of typing on a physical keypad. Most touch screens have tactile feedback but it's really nothing compared to a real keypad.

Thanks for the answer and sorry I accidentally clicked on Delete! I thought it was comment. Sorry. Yes, tactile feedback is minimal on a touchscreen phone. Perhaps to some people it's even negligible but I suppose it's better than nothing at all.
