I already do buy pizza online lol

I either go to their website or use Menu Palace. If I feel like eating out, I check out Open Table and make reservations online. Or are you referring to frozen pizza? Because you can also order that online at Grocery Gateway.

Maybe we're just very spoiled in Toronto. Everything is at our fingertips.

@The idea is how to involve this customer into staying on the portal.

These websites have recommendations and polls. Other than adding a forum, I don't see how you can have them stay on the portal. Maybe integrating FourSquare somehow?

I would never have thought of buying hot food on line, but now you have all mentioned it - not a bad idea. But presumably it would have to be local take-away places who go on line.

The community idea online does sound like a neat idea. People could trade experiences with the menu items. Hmm perhaps I would order pizza if I could be guaranteed it would arrive at my door hot rather than luke warm or cold.

We have been ordering pizza online for a couple of years and love it. I hated having to call in orders and the person on the other end of the phone cannot hear and understand you because it is so loud in their restaurant. We also do it with a local Chinese restaurant. I love it.
