What is the HTML editor for Firefox and where can I find it?

I'm trying to understand this "Editor" thing. I'm not sure what Firefox uses. A Code View Editor or a  HTML Insert Editor and where the heck do I find the EDITOR!?

@ wecode:  I'm new to Hub Pages & reading that to make some $ , I need to link ads to my hubs.  I'm guessing if there were a particular ad I wanted to use, I'd need a certain code.  I can see pieces of this puzzle, but getting it together eludes

For Firefox you only can see source code. You won't get any editor. But  by default windows has it's own editor like Notepad. But it is difficult for a new user to edit and see the preview of generated code using Notepad. You better use Macromedia Dreamweaver. It is easy to use and also you can add any tag in your html document easily.

This explains a lot!  No wonder I can't find something if it's not even there to be found.
