How to Control which parts of an Excel Sheet print?

An excel sheet has lookup tables, and other information which I do not want to print out. If I fail to indicate I want only the first page to print, all 4 pages print.

I have seen workbooks that have sheets which print only a portion thereof. How is this done?

Tab  - page layout, then "print area". This allows you to set the part of the sheet that you want to print. You can also set the size of print, which allows you to print the information on only one sheet of paper, instead of spreading out over 2 sheets of paper.

Highlight the area you want to print on your file, go to Page Lay-out  then click "Print Area" then select "Set Print Area"

You can either use 'set print area' or 'print selection' from the printing options.
