Which do you think is better and why: iPhone 4S or Samsung Galaxy S3?
IPhone is made better! Apple makes good products. Samsung is ok, just don't buy from AT&T!! Just saying...
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is better: bigger screen, faster processor, better camera, thinner hardware. Everything is better because it is a newer phone.
The answer to this is simple. The Samsung Galaxy is better because it sports an Android operating system. Apple products are amazing, useful, elegant and even ahead of their time. The issue is simply the cost. Android offers nearly three quarters of a million free applications, while the iPhone sports a measly few thousand. Most iPhone apps that are truly useful, especially to business people, are not free (and not cheap for that matter). Android is more capable and more easily manipulated to fit the user. iPhone's OS is bulky and locked down like a pie thief in Texas. Apple has the opportunity to move ahead in the race of the ultimate smartphones, but the deciding factor is economics and OS simplicity.
It completely depends on the person using the phone. The iPhone 4S is a great phone for people who like consistency among all their devices. Apple products tend to be more user friendly and have a better support system through Apple Care and other Apple users. However, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is a wonderful phone and is actually the device I personally carry. The screen is much larger than most, if not all other phones. This makes everything easier to read and games easier to play. Of course with any android device, they tend to have more problems in terms of "glitching" and require a more experienced user to troubleshoot these issues. Generally speaking, I would tend to recommend the iPhone 4S to people who are not very technical and the Samsung Galaxy S3 to those who are comfortable using computers and smart phones.
S3 has better display having 4.8 inch screen as against iphone 4 has 3.5 inches.
Also S3 comes with 1GB RAM memory as against 512MB RAM in iPhone 4.
