If I had to choose just one I would say that Microsoft Excel is my favorite program. I use it for almost everything on a daily basis. Excel really makes my life easier by keeping things organized and orderly.
Yeah - thumbs up for Excel. Even though I like Linux much more, the windows app Excel nails it for so many reasons. I've written some very complex stuff in Excel. People often don't realise that it's a complete programming language.
Second would have to be gimp as it's free, stable, versatile and useful.
