   I-Phone or Samsung Galaxy?
   
   I'd rather go with the Samsung Galaxy to stick with the Microsoft computer world, but Samsung's products have quality issues from what I have read, and their customer service is suppossed to be horrible, so I am leaning towards getting an Apple I-Phone.  Any opinions?

   I'm thinking about the same question recently. I had a Samsung Wave II 2 years ago and was not very happy about the screen presentation and apps store (nearly no apps at all). So I changed to iphone 4 till now. But now I think my iphone is too small to read and navigate. My husband is using the new Samsung Note II, he is very satisfied with the big screen and everything...but I am still unsure about changing back to Samsung again.

   I'm in the process of trading in my Galaxy Nexus running Jelly Bean 4.2.1 for an iPhone 4S reason being that I need the 4S to test products I'm writing about in my review blog. The Android OS world is still catching up in certain respects to the iOS world - e.g. connectivity for latest Bluetooth Smart.
   It very much depends on how you use our smartphone. As you pointed out with Android, you can easily transfer files from your MS computer whereas it's a bit of a hassle via iOS. But there are apps to allow for sharing files e.g. Dropbox, Box.net, SkyDrive etc. I use all of them for different purposes across my Android, iOS, WP8, smartphones and Mac OS X, Linux and MS Win 7 computers.
   I use a Galaxy Note 2 during the day and it's a great device but now feel that if I'm going out for a night out I would prefer to use a smaller device. The Note2 now replaced my laptop when I travel - it's big enough to read attachments on emails and plenty big enough for checking email and love the s-pen.
   If you have a lot of media - music/video etc. on iOS vi iTunes you may just decide to stay with Apple. The platform makes handling all your media so easy. If you are someone who wants to move files yourself and transfer them from the phone to the computer - i.e. more control on your media them Android/Galaxy is your choice. But notice that Google is now offering a lot of services that parallels those on iOS.
   I have not heard too much about the Samsung quality issue. I think they are both about the same and all companies are speeding up the life cycle of devices. So it may go back to what platforms you have in terms of computers etc. If you have Mac OS X devices an iPhone would be so easy to integrate with and not directly comparable but with Android it is slightly easier to integrate to the MS computer world.

      Thanks for the detailed answer.  I went with the iPhone over Galaxy due to quality and customer service concerns.  It's going to be a present.  I can't have it turn into a fiasco, if there are problems with the phone.  Apple just has better service.

   Iphone beats Samsung phones in terms of style and durability. However, the Samsung Galaxy series has much better features and are perfect for those who don't want to be limited about installing new games and apps. Congratulations on your new phone!
