For pinterest users, is there a way to email someone from there?
I do not have a pinterest account. If you sign up for pinterest, is there a way to email someone you "follow"? Is it called "following" on there as well? (The reason I'm asking is because since writing on HP, I'm now getting emails related to pinterest, but I'm not on pinterest!)
There is no way that I have found to send messages back and forth on Pinterest, but you do "follow" people. It always notifies when one of my Facebook friends has followed me of joined Pinterest. Again, no messaging, but you can "tag" people in comments of in your pins. You can also send things you have pinned to other pinners. (That's a lot of Pinning-pinner-pinned!) Hope this helps!
Thank you Tygher! That does explain a lot! I just naturally assumed that people could email or IM each other over in pinterest.
You're welcome! I always use the app on my phone also, so...maybe there is something I am missing. I only use it for recipes and wedding ideas! -)
You can send emails invitiing people to join. Maybe a member sent you a request to join. I have sent one email like that. Pinterest also asks for email lists, but I do not want them to contact people on an email list, so I refuse. Pinterest is a fun site if you are interested in joining..
