I know there's another active Pinterest thread out there, which is super helpful. I'm curious about people's ratio of pins to views.

Are there certain pins you feel really push your traffic? Do you know what's the appeal of those certain pins?

    Thank you for reading this!

Also, I mean views purely from Pinterest, not your total daily views.

I don't know how many pins (or re-pins) I have, but Pinterest is #4 on my list of traffic sources, after google.com, dengarden and google.ca.  It was worth about 1500 views last month.

I post around 3 different pins for each article after it is accepted to a niche site.  They are often re-pinned by others.  Pinterest is my top source for views.

So you mean when articles are accept on a niche site that a pin or re-pin can be made? What about featured articles, or otherwise?

I don't repin myself, other Pinterest users do though, onto their own boards.  I prefer to pin once the hub has been accepted to a niche site mainly because I know it has passed the quality process.  Just personal preference, nothing else.

You're not yet home personal preferences or otherwise.                                    Let's say an article is featured but is not accept on a niche site. Can that featured article be pin? That's my question.

Yes of course, except I prefer my best work to be pinned and re-pinned.

According to Analytics I have 198 views from Pinterest over the past month from 13 pins. Whether I pinned those originally I can't remember, I don't do a lot of pinning. After Penguin I was wary of backlinks and didn't pin but I have posted some pins. I think most of my Pinterest traffic is organic.

HP has my traffic at 281 views from Pinterest over the past month. Of course, GA and HP measure time differently.

I have not pinned my articles on Pinterest for a while. Thank you for reminding me. I will do that now. My DIY planter is transferred to the vertical site which I have just seen it now.

Pinterest is the third traffic source right now, but sometimes it is second. I have several articles that get re-pinned almost daily.

I have an account on Pinterest, and I am learning the tricks to make a pin, instead of flying with one arm.

I get around 120 views per day from Pinterest but most of these are from secondary traffic from repins. I make several pins per article, but for the last year or even longer, none of the pins I create are repinned, so I think I've been shadow banned, although Pinterest deny it.
