How do I gain followers for my hub, other than by using Facebook and other social media?
You gain followers by writing good quality interesting hubs on subjects that people are interested in. Also, by being active in the forums and answering questions. People tend to follow those who write hubs they are interested in or have hobbies and likes that are similar to their own.
Don't fret, it takes time, but people will follow.
One good way to gain followers quickly is to follow other hubbers. Don't just go around following everyone, find a few hubbers that write hubs that you enjoy. Start following them and in many cases they will start following you. Also, leaving good comments on the hubs of others can help generate more followers. Remember, every time you comment, a link to your profile is put in place for others to check out your hubs.
