Party like it's 2024!  What would that look like?

Only positive responses please - no gloom and doom.  I picked 2024 because it might be more relevant to us than "Party like it's 2099".  How would we send the invitations?(communication).  How would we arrive? (transportation).  What would we be eating at the party? (cultural) How would we decorate?  (Would little remote control devices - I hate the word drones - be used for the lights? (technology) What would we be wearing? What about the weather?   Again, please no armaggedon-type responses. Just thought this would be fun.

At that time, I will probably be in bed by 8 o'clock.

LOL!  It's only 9 years.  I'm 70 and I'm thinking I'll still be up watching Jimmy Fallon or Jimmy Kimmel smile

I hope to celebrate Life in a more stabilized world, surrounded with friends. I've no doubt there'll be an assortment of new electronic goodies and techno-toys, and I will take some pleasure in having my children explain these marvels to me. While others are attired in the new wonder fabrics, I am a traditional fellow and will continue to wear Pendleton shirts, Filson jackets and Stetson hats...and I will take a measure of satisfaction in that.

smile Edward!  "take some pleasure in having my children explain these marvels to me..."  Love it!  I LOVE Pendleton shirts, but we don't get a chance to wear them much now in CA smile Cheers, Billie
