Help! How do I remove Adds by Tapbraker from my computer?

    Help! How do I remove Adds by Tapbraker from my computer?

    Couple of weeks ago, my son was homesick and used my computer to play games. I have AVG Antivirus and all that. I have Pop Up Blocker Pro on Chrome and I went to search for the system in the Control Panel to try and delete anything it can be linked to. I am not very computer savvy so I have no idea what to do. Any advice is appreciated.

    Hey Elvisa,
    Did you try to go to Chrome Settings --> Extensions and see if anything about tapbraker is located there? If you find something you have to press the trash button on the right of the extension.

      Hi. Yeah I checked and even had a tech friend look at it and there is nothing in the control panel. I am still stuck with it.

      I am afraid you have to download Malwarebytes Anti Malware from this link: https://www.malwarebytes.org/ and to a full scan of your disk. If malwarebytes doesn't find anything you have to do the scan inside Safe Mode!
