    Does anyone know how to stop mid-screen pop-up videos on iPhone and iPad?

    Don't say go to safari and click "block pop ups" please.  These are something I've just started seeing in the last few days - you scroll halfway through an article and pass a video which seems embedded, immediately it opens but in a smaller window (almost like picture in picture) on the upper left of your screen, floating over the content.  Seems as there is no way around it expect use the reader mode.  Anyone have any ideas?  A picture example is shown.

    Maybe you could achieve this with components like AdBlock Plus / Pro, made in order to block advertisements.
    I generally do not approve a massive use of AdBlockers (as bloggers should earn from their hard work), however when ads (like floating videos) are excessive, I am the first who uses them: bloggers should not put similar things in their website.

    Try with an AdBlock and see if your problem is solved. Some AdBlock components also allow you to block custom page elements, so you can right click the video and block it forever.
