What is the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org?
I was searching for WordAds and they told me about WordPress.org I found a program need to be installed ... What is that program and why ?
Wordpress.org provides blogging software. The software can be used two ways.
The easiest way is on Wordpress.com. Like Blogger, it is a place where you can create a free blog. It uses the Wordpress software. The difference is that if you're using the free service, you can't place any advertising.
The other way is to buy a hosting service, upload the Wordpress software to it and create your own blog.

I've now figured out the difference. Wordpress.com is for just writing blogs & from what I've figured out you can't use adsense or Amazon, etc. If I'm wrong, please correct me, and I need clear cut directions for adding their codes, I am not finding anyplace to add the codes. ...

I have a blog on wordpress.com right now. After going through hoops for AdSense approval, I got it . . . on my blog . . . my blog that I subsequently discovered will not allow third-party ads. I should have just applied to get my HupPages approved, but its a long story that I won't get into.So now...
