When will Apple Out-Price itself?
Articles about the new iPhone 8's release have the tech device at about $1,000 or maybe even $1,500 for the cheapest version. This undoubtedly makes it difficult for the average American to obtain this luxury. When will Apple begin to stretch themselves too far and outpace the demand?
When people want something bad enough they'll find a way to get it. Some people finance their phones through their service providers or use credit cards. They'll do without other things.
The only way Apple will cut it's prices is if more people switch over to Android phones. Another tactic often used is refusing to be "the first" to get something.
There's nothing wrong with for example buying the iPhone 8 when iPhone 9 or 10 is released. This need to have the latest and greatest immediately drives up pricing.
