Is it Helpful or Harmful to Traffic and Earnings having articles placed on HubPages Network Sites?
One of my recent hubs was automatically moved to a HubPages network site without my consent, and I'm not very pleased about that. I have a few older hubs that still perform very well, and I'm concerned that they might be “involuntarily” moved to a network site, where they will lose Google ranking, and endure a slow, lonely death. I'm apprehensive about listing my hubs on (relatively new) niche network sites with bizarre, obscure names. I fear that will only decrease traffic and earnings. I'd appreciate input from other authors pertaining to their experience with the HubPages Network Sites.
My articles that have been moved to network/niche sites are the ones drawing most of my traffic nowadays, so I have no complaints.
It is very helpful! Website ranking helps article ranking. The niche sites rank higher than the main site for a niche. The key is it a niche and not general. The consensus in the Forums is that there was a significant increase in views for articles placed on the niche sites.
