Need recommendations for a notebook computer ...
I want to buy my husband a notebook (with keyboard) for Christmas (through Amazon, as I have gift card money there). My thoughts are that it should be Windows (10) or similar so he can add MS Office, 4 gigs, decent battery life. Not sure that a Chromebook is a good idea. He doesn't like my Mac notebook (even though he has an iPhone) and I couldn't afford to get him a Mac, anyway.
He now has a first G Kindle tablet, so anything would be an upgrade, especially if it has a keyboard. Doesn't have to have too many bells and whistles. Price range is $300 or less. Am I dreaming?
There are lots of Acer and Lenovo laptops in that range ,with some of them even running on a Windows 10 operating system.
Thanks, i *think* I have it decided but I can always change my mind before I hit the "order" button!
