As an "old fart", I vowed for 2011 to learn to text. Now I find that I am receiving spam on my phone via text. Is there a do not disturb - do not text feature that I should be aware of?
PS my children now do believe that I am "cool" now that I can text a reply to them!
Oh pleased to hear someone else is having this problem.
I dont answer numbers I dont know ,but of course then the spammers ,text and if you try to erase it blip $1 worth of minutes gone!
Really is annoying and frustrating to boot, obviously its working like a donation. They must be making a tidy profit, and furthermore much more than me on here trying to make an honest buck...
Grrrrr...
That's pretty bad do you get spam from recognizable numbers?
If you have an android phone you can block sms/calls with a special app, research it if you have an android phone. I used it to block an angry ex girlfriend haha!

I prefer text messages but not for everything.Right now Facebook offers what I believe is a "push" message, a text message sent to my phone.I would like the ability to receive a text message for certain chosen topics - not the global setting but by answer and by individual hub.Would you...

Is it ok to read your child's text messages? This is purely a parents decision to make. But should there be a valid reason? Oh and" I pay for your phone" is not what I mean as valid.
