Green Collar Workers--field workers to promote renewable energies

    In 2008 presidential elections of USA , among party workers claimed that they are Green Collar Workers, who are engaged in promoting renewable energy sources for the benefit of the communities and Eco conservation.
    I am a technician(Indian) retired, but of Blue Collar worker category  and other category is White Collar worker engaged in Administration and management, blue collar workers engaged in tough and hazardous jobs and used to work in sweat shops.Due to advances in Solar and Wind power technologies and implementation of producing farms ,it is necessary to train technicians and engineers to install  these systems,so they are the warriors of green technology and promote new clean energy resources.
    I like Green Collar Worker concept, though i missed chance to get there.
