Microsoft Surface for Windows 8 RT tablet

Updated on February 6, 2015

The Microsoft Surface for Windows 8 Tablet

OMG - have you heard about the latest rival to Apple's iPad? Windows are releasing a competitive tablet product, the Microsoft Surface for Windows 8.

It looks goooood! It comes with the ability to use all windows products, including Microsoft Office and software such as Photoshop. The coolest thing about it, is that the protective cover, also doubles up as a keyboard! Nifty huh?

I'm super excited about getting to try one, to see how it compares to the iPad (which I am a HUGE fan of). Reports show that you can use a stylus pen on it, that doesn't recognise your wrist or hand on the screen (it really bugs me when I draw on my iPad and I keep making marks at the bottom where my hand needs to rest whilst I write...grrrr).

On this page, you'll find links, news and everything you need to know to make an informed decision about the coolest tablet to hit our little consumer high streets in 2012.

Windows 8 promises to blow our minds with its interactive technology, so this is a big deal. With a HD screen, built-in kickstand (sounds obvious, but this is a flaw with the iPad, in that you need to buy some sort of stand or holder, or it won't support itself standing up) and that crazily exciting case that doubles as a keyboard - genius! I wonder if this means that the iPad 4 will be even better!? This is such an exciting time for consumer technology!

What do YOU think about the Microsoft Surface for Windows Tablet?

Will Windows Surface Tablet be better than Apple's iPads?

Squueeeeeeeeee! This is so exciting! But if like me you can't wait any longer, here are some beautiful Windows tablets to keep you happy in the meantime.

The best thing about tablets, is that they're small, easy to carry around and convenient to use. If you're infront of the TV, and you want to check a quick recipe instead of getting off the couch to start up your computer - just whip out this little tablet and hey presto - you check anything you want to online.

You can even play a cheeky game of candy crush, whilst the commercial breaks are on! I love a tablet...can't imagine life without it!

What do you think about the Windows Surface Tablet? Excited?
