openSUSE is one from the Linux's family distributions Operative Systems that has taken over the open source software and enterprise server technologies market in '09.
Not only it is a robust Information Technology platform solution for supporting Small, Mid & large enterprise services needs, but also offers an attractive GUI (Graphic User Interface) that includes the most recent desktop from the Gnome and KDE projects, and many other desktops environments from the Unix core as well.
openSUSE includes all features to fill up a developer needs on the most powerful open source programing languages: Perl, Ruby, Python.
Provides a complete platform to Systems Administrator on several services like: DHCP, DNS,FTP, HTTP, Proxy & mail services Active Directory, and many others. Includes tools for Graphic Design like the 3D rendering animations, Blender; and so on.
Versioning for openSUSE
Software versions released for this distribution for last generations are: 11.0, 11.1 and 11.2. These versions includes kernels for x86 and x64 architecture CPUs and also Mac's as well, whit many hardware drivers for support; no hardware problems.
11.2 is the latest and more stable version and is also available on the official openSUSE web site for download (FREE) , a complete DVD for you to take your computer to the next level.
