Is Redgage a Hobby?

Updated on April 13, 2015

What is RedGage?

A hobby is an activity or interest that is undertaken for pleasure, relaxation, or enjoyment. A hobby can make a nice income.

I have a great interest in writing. Having I more than 1,000 articles online that can validate that. I love to add photos and designs for places like Zazzle. I'm happy when I'm with my online friends. (OK...my only friends.) Making money is an additional bonus to this hobby.

Nice site that is a bookmarking, social website that pays you for the content you have already created. Upload your blogs, photos, videos, documents or links from media sites. Start making money every time someone views, rates or comments on your content. You also score points for viewing, rating and commenting on someone's content. Become one of the featured members and earn a bonus. Earn a referral income. Take part in the daily contest to make an additional income. This site is fun, easy, enjoyable and often relaxing. My question to you is this...Is RedGage a Hobby?

See for yourself and Join RedGage Make sure you add me, sandyspider as your friend after you join.

No Problem Using My Visa Card

It was fun using this card on my grocery trip.

"My Dog Buddy is Sad!" The $4.50 bonus

Like any site, the more active you are, the more beneficial it will be for you. I joined Redgage sometime in August of 2009. One of my photos was featured right away, which gave me a bonus of $4.50. Shortly after that, I became too busy with other online writing sites. Though I was still making money without even being on Redgage. Once I put a few hours (maybe not even that much) of effort during a week in Jan. 2010., it paid out with an additional $25 bonus won in their raffle. On Jan. 11, 2010, I received my visa card that I could use on anything that I wanted to just like money. After this all future earnings will be added to the card.

Tools Tab

When you first sign up with Redgage, click on the "Tools" tab and choose the Import tool. Redgage will automatically upload your content from YouTube, Blogger, Flickr, Facebook, Wordpress and Twitter, no need to manually upload everything. I was surprise how much content Redgage uploaded for me. Afterwards, every time you create an article, blog, a new Zazzle product, another HubPages addiction hub, simply upload it by clicking on the "Upload" button on your dashboard.

Using the Upload Tab

Once you hit the "Upload" tab you will see something like this. Fill in the blanks with Title, Description, Tags and click on what type on content to upload. Is this case, I will be uploading a picture taken of my daughter wearing her diversity mask as part of an assignment in her diversity class.

Once it is uploaded the picture is instantly displayed This is placed in my "Profile" under "Content" and is automatically placed in the "Default Collection". To view this click on the "Collections" link on your profile page.

How to Customize Your Collection Group

Default Collection

Once you have finished uploading your content it is placed in the "Default Collection." The Default Collection is the default grouping of all the content that has not been placed into a custom Collection. To make a custom collection, click on the "Create" tab. Once there fill in the Title, Tags and Description. Then upload an image that best suits your custom collection.

Under your "Collections" tab, you have the option to Edit or Remove it. Hit the "Edit" button and you can then transfer your content into that group. Once you are in there, you will notice that you can move your content to a different group as well.

My picture which I uploaded was moved out of the "Default Collection" into my "Photo Images of Everything" .

Redgage use to bring me money. This would be cash out on the a Redgage Visa card. It is harder to make money there. Though I am sure many people still are. It is like any other type of social network site, you have to be active to make it work.

Redgage is still good for backlinking, adding photos, videos and blogging.
