Mikey is a person who loves to talk about sports including basketball and his favorite team is the San Antonio Spurs.

Chicago, also known as 'The Windy City' has many fun things to offer for families and people to try out! With hot summers and freezing winters, there is always something fun to do in Chicago!

Since there is so much to do in Chicago, I am going to talk about my top ten list of things to do there. As this is my opinion, feel free to comment other things for tourists to do as well!

This is in no particular order, as I don't want to make this like a ranking, but just a list of places and events to try!

1. The Bean

The Bean is a piece of artwork located in the center of Millennium Park. It is ginormous, measuring in at 33 feet by 66 feet by 42 feet! It also took two years to make, beginning work in 2004 and ending in 2006. Right now, it is one of Chicago's most important attractions and it is a must to take pictures with it!

2. Wrigley Field

It doesn't matter if you are a Chicago Cubs fan or not, it is a great place to watch an entertaining baseball game with friends or family! Plus, the stadium is so monumental with its signature ivy walls in on the back of the stadium! Wrigley is also important because with the Cubs winning the World Series in 2016, it ended a 107 year drought from the last time the Cubs won it!

3. Lincoln Park Zoo

One of the top zoo's in the country, Lincoln Park Zoo has almost every animal imaginable and many exhibits! Animals range all the way from Elephants, to Birds, to Lions! The best part about this zoo is that it is completely free to enter, everyday of the year! Plus, this zoo is pet-accessible, meaning you can bring a pet dog for example!

4. Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

Chicago, home of the deep dish pizza, is a must when traveling here and where else to go beside Lou Malnati's Pizzeria! Easily one of the best deep dish pizzas in the Chicago area and all time, if you never have had deep dish this is where you need to have it. In addition, the prices are very reasonable for a slice, with a special being $4.95. The pizzeria has also been praised on by many critics, including Dave Portnoy of Bartstool Pizza Reviews.

5. Chinatown

Chicago has one of the biggest China Towns in the country, and is definitely worth a walk around! With a wide variety of shops and places to eat, this is a great place to take a tour of. You can also go to the Chinese-American Museum there to look at the history of the town. It is also a great area to tour around if you want to immerse yourself in the culture that it brings!

6. Shedd Aquarium

A great place to go if you love fish and other underwater animals! The Shedd Aquarium offers over a whopping 32,000 animals ranging from fish to penguins to sharks! If you have a young family, this is the perfect place to take your kids. Be ready for a long wait to get in, as it is one of the best aquariums in the country and many people go daily!

7. Museum of Science and Industry

This is a perfect place to see anything scientific! You can enter inside trains, go in WW2 planes, or even go into a mine! It is great for all ages and types of people, with some things perfect for kids like learning biology. The prices are very reasonable, being in the range of $10.00 for a regular ticket but can range up to $22.00 for extra features.

8. Soldier Field Stadium Tour

Ever want to tour an NFL Field? Well, say no more with the Soldier Field Tour! You can see where the Chicago Bears play, enter the locker room, and do much more. Plus, when walking around the stadium, you can truly feel what it is like to be a Chicago Bear.

I did something like this at Heinz Field (Steelers), and it was definitely amazing. And the Bears tour will probably be the same for you!

9. Navy Pier

One of the most fun places in Chicago, Navy Pier has everything for anybody. You can go sightseeing on Lake Michigan, or go walking around a botanical garden near the pier. It is a great area if you want to walk around for the day and look at astonishing objects and figures.

10. College Tours

If you want to walk around Chicago and bored, go walk around some college campuses! You can go to DePaul, Northwestern, or UIC! All three of these colleges have a beautiful atmosphere and you can go to a bookstore and buy a souvenir!

Overall, Chicago has much to offer, and you won't be bored! So, if heading to Chicago, be sure to check out this article to figure out what to do.

As always, comment below if I missed anything or need something clarified on the list, thanks for reading!
