Scenic Waterfall Wulai and attractions
Now, I will explain what I said around the Waterfall Wulai. It is one of the best place around the Taipei.
Visitors who want to arrive to waterfall have to walking by 20 minutes or take a log cart train to destination. I recommend walking. It is very nice, romantic and green. In half of the way, visitors even find toilet.
Nearby the waterfall is a hamlet with very expensive shop. In this shop visitors can buy very beautiful local products. I liked a big ship the most.
The tree, which stand in front of the waterfall, is very charming.
If somebody want to take a gondola to park, above the waterfall, must take staircases and later turned right. On the top of the staircases, there is a park. Unfortunately, I did not there because we had not enough time.
In the gondola's station, I found the cheapest millet wine in Wulai. It can buy also other products like candy and aboriginal food.
Yun Hsien Resort in Wulai
Yun Hsien Resort is one of the most interesting resort which I have seen in my life. There is a lot of things to do. For example, drinking a beer, coffee, tea on the middle of the lake. It can archery or swim in a swimming pool among palms. Behind a hotel, there is a playground like "basketball".
The hotel in Yun Hsien Resort is very expensive. One night can cost even 4940 TWD. The cheapest room cost only 2870 TWD. The resort was established by very rich man Yun Hsien in 1964 year. This area looks like a paradise; therefore, they named it “Yun Hsien Holiday Resort” meaning “a land of celestials and clouds.”
