10. Playa de los Peligros; Playa de la Magdalena, Santander

Magdalena beach is within the bay itself. The beach is 350 meters long, with fine golden sand and it is popular throughout the year. Be careful, however, particularly at low tide, of the steep slope down into the water. This beach has also won an award for its cleanliness. For safety reasons, windsurfers and sailing boats must stay within a restricted area.

Tarifa has a great beach and a very interesting downtown area. I went from Malaga by car and it is less than two hours driving.

The above are truly some of the best beaches in Spain. However, I miss a secret beach paradise, mainly: The Natural Park of Cabo de Gata-Níjar in Almeria (Southern Spain). If you right-click on my name, you can take a tour through this incredible place, with some of the last unspoiled beaches in Europe. You will also discover lost filming locations..
