No trip to the French Riviera would be complete without a visit to Cannes. Located in the south of France, the city is a mecca for those with a taste for upscale, relaxed Mediterranean living. The city lies 25 km east of the Nice Airport but is equally accessible by plane or boat. A convenient bus shuttle between the airport and Cannes departs every half hour and the city's marina welcomes yachts if you have made arrangements for a short stay.
Once in the city, it is time to sit back and enjoy the warm sun and surf. Cannes only has one public beach but there are many private beaches owned by local hotels.
