Fishing: Nothing says family bonding like sitting around together with a few poles in the water - waiting for something to happen. Even if it's just for part of one day, try your hand at catching fish.
Watersports: Water skiing is great, but can have quite a learning curve. If you don't have much time you may want to opt for tubing instead. Check your local sporting goods shop, club store, or Wal-Mart for deals. Make sure to pick up an electric inflator.
