Travel To Naples Florida

Updated on November 21, 2016

Fun In The Sunshine State

When the best time to visit Naples Florida ? The easy answer is ANYTIME. Located on the west coast of Florida, overlooking the Gulf Of Mexico, this vacation area offers many activities for both young and old.

With its nice, moderate warm to hot dependable climate, Naples offers a wide variety of activities. Be it going to the beach, golfing on any one of the numerous golf courses in the area, fishing from boat or shore or have a world class shopping extravaganza on its 5th Avenue and Historic 3rd Street South, your vacation is given the green light for full speed ahead fun when your in this area..

If you looking to spend time at the beach, then Naples wonderful beaches include; Naples Municipal Beach and Fishing Pier, Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park, Clam Pass State Park, Vanderbilt Beach and North Gulfshore Boulvard Beach as well as Lowdermilk Beach Park. Beach combing is a favorite activity as is swimming and relaxing. You’ll be surprised at the lushness of the local flowers and fauna. Facing the west, you’ll often see wonderful sunsets not seen on the east side of Florida. The beach itself is approx 10 miles long, with it white silky sand and beautiful water was voted in 2005 The Travel Channels #1 beach out of 100.

A few other of my favorite spots are; Naples Botanical Gardens, a wonderful spot to relax and gather your thoughts, the Naples Zoo at the Carribean Gardens, and the Naples Pier for both fishing and bird watching.

For your evenings out you’ll find more than enough fine restaurants to visit. There is no shortage of nightlife here but to add a little fun to your vacation check out the Theater Zone that performs in the G & L Theater on the campus of the Community School of Naples, as well as a few other community theaters in the area. Also Naples has a Philharmonic Orchestra. This town has class all the way around.

The last time I left Naples I was wondering when I’d come back to visit again. Now I wonder why I ever left !
