Water water Everywhere & Some Not To Drink
Water Scenes to enjoy
Are you a fan of water scenes no matter if it is a beautiful lake scene or an amazingly stunning waterfall , maybe a rocky beach ?
If so then I hope you enjoy some of my favourite photos from Western Australia as we travel .
I have always loved being by the water myself & really enjoy spending time in ,on or by the water swimming, snorkeling , boating fishing or even just relaxing by the water ?
As we have come up to the top end soon after the wet season we have been fortunate to still have water scenes to enjoy as soon the creeks etc will dry up until the next big wet.
Kalbarri WA
I loved it at Kalbarri WA ! For the perfect escape with beach, bush and every kind of Aussie scenery rolled into one location - head straight to Kalbarri.
There are spectacular red rock gorges, rugged coastal cliffs, colourful wildflowers, read more about it here ! http://hubpages.com/hub/Kalbarri-Great-place-to-visit

Karijini National Park
Karijini National Park is a great place for a variety of water scenes with waterfalls , amazing pools and gorges to enjoy .
With this place there is a lot of walking down to the bottom of the gorges each time , however you are rewarded with an amazing swimming hole like the one we went to in this hub .

Tunnel Creek WA
Tunnel Creek Caves
Tunnel Creek Caves
As you are traveling between Broome/Derby & Fittroy crossing in a high 4 wh drive make sure you allow time to explore the Tunnel caves for an amazing experience !
Wear old sandshoes & swimmers for wading through the water in the caves & take a torch & camera. Kids can get across by jumping on Dads back or floating/swimming !
It was better than we expected and will do it again one day !
Kununurra
4 wheel drive needed !
In many places we are traveling you really do need a 4 wh drive to get through the many waterways across the road as well as because of the rough roads, however when you are in the appropriate vehicle for the journey then it becomes a fun trip full of adventure navigating your way thru the water you come across !

Windjama Gorge
The Windjama Gorge is a pleasant surprise after looking down a long way into the gorges at Karijini National Park , to walk in at the base of the gorge and stroll along the clear fresh water was a delightful experience especially seeing the crocodiles basking in the sun !

Lakes at Kununurra
Black Rock Falls
Wow !! This is an amazing spot we must go back & visit , however it will be better earlier in the day as the water is CCCCold ! OK its FREEZING !
Climb over a few rocks & relax here in the peace & quiet for a while ! It is not far out of Kununurra so well worth a drive.

Kununurra
How could anyone not like Kununurra with the lake on one side and the rocks above the town .The Ord River is here to explore both the Upper Ord & Lower Ord for barramundi or just relaxing on the lake in a kayak or a tinny for exploring further afield.
