Does anyone know anything about the Great Sandy Desert in Australia?
Anything would be helpful.
The Great Sandy Desert is located in the north part of Western Australia. It is the second largest desert in Australia and measures approximately 284,993 square kilometres (110,038 square miles).
For a desert, the Great Sandy desert actually gets quite a bit of ranfall - about 250mm a year. But the huge amount of evaporation means that the area remains dry all year.
