Do you allow visitors for your anteaters?

My boyfriend's 19th bday is coming up at the end of september, and we reside in Jacksonville, FL. He has been obsessed with them since he was a small child, and I've tried contacting our zoo, but they don't do tours for the anteaters. It would be the best birthday present if I could get him a chance to interact with an anteater, up close and personal. I know I'm going out on a limb, and you probably get requests like this all the time, but it would mean the world to him, so I thought I would ask!

Your best bet is probably contacting all the wildlife sanctuarys in your area and asking if they house any anteaters. I've always had an obsession with kangaroos and I did this and was able to find a local sanctuary who housed roos and I was able to get in their habitat and play with them. Great experience. I hope you find what you're looking for and that he has a wonderful birthday!
