I want to do a distillery tour of Scotland...
I have always wanted to do a distillery tour of Scotland. Not the big name brands but local single pot still type companies encompassing all the main types of single malt scotches from the Highlands, Lowlands and Islands. Any suggestions on how to set that up?
there are lots of guided tours for scotch and whiskey distilleries around Scotland. I think if you Google and contact a touring company, they will give you a list of the places they visit and you can pick the tour that's best. Once you actually get to Scotland and get a sense of where things are, you might be able to arrange your own tour to suit your tastes for smaller distilleries. Good luck, it sounds fun!
