What are the Safe Places in Europe to Travel?

Europe has vast diversity in nature and also has some dangerous places for tourists. So what are the safe places for tourists in Europe?

I think Portugal is one of the safest places you can pick, beautiful places, lots of natural landscapes, monuments, great food and the people are very peaceful and open to new people, check out some of my hubs about places in Portugal:

There are many safe places to visit in Europe. I've been to Britian, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, Austria, Monaco, and the Czech Republic and I have never had any problems.

It isn't any different then visiting an area you are unfamiliar with in the US. If you are in the tourist places it is very unlikely any harm will come to you. If you are particularly concerned about safety I would recommend using a tour group or starting out with somewhere like Britian or Ireland where everything is in English so that you will feel more comfortable.

Germany is a really safe place to travel to. During my travels in Europe, I learned that if you stay in the Western part you'll be ok. The Eastern part of Europe is were you'll start to encounter a little more trouble.
